Community Guidelines

Find Experts Nearby connects travelers and residents with trusted local service providers in Bali — tour guides, drivers, spa therapists, personal trainers, private cooks, and more. These guidelines exist so every booking, review, and conversation on the platform stays safe, honest, and respectful. They apply to everyone: customers, partners, and their staff. They complement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Be Respectful

• Treat everyone with courtesy — in chat messages, reviews, and in person during services.
• No harassment, hate speech, discrimination, threats, or sexual advances. Ever.
• Respect local Balinese culture, customs, and religious sites during tours and services.

2. Honest Reviews

• Write reviews only for services you actually booked and experienced.
• Keep reviews factual and about the service — not about a person's identity, appearance, race, religion, or nationality.
• Partners may not offer discounts, gifts, or pressure of any kind in exchange for positive reviews, and may not retaliate against honest negative ones.
• Posting fake, paid-for, or duplicate reviews leads to removal of the reviews and possible account suspension.

3. Honest Listings

• Partners must describe their services, prices, and qualifications accurately — photos must be of the actual service offered.
• Certifications and licenses claimed in a listing must be real and current.
• Bait-and-switch pricing (advertising one price, charging another) is not allowed.

4. Keep Transactions on the Platform

• Book and pay through Find Experts Nearby. Off-platform payment requests remove the protection our booking, refund, and dispute processes provide.
• Don't use chat to move a customer or partner off the platform to avoid fees.

5. Safety First

• Partners must provide services safely, soberly, and professionally — including safe driving, hygienic spa practice, and appropriate fitness supervision.
• In-home and in-villa services (spa, trainers, cooks) require professional conduct at all times from both sides.
• Never share another person's private information (address, phone, photos) without their consent.
• If you ever feel unsafe during a service, end it and report it to us immediately.

6. Prohibited Content and Behavior

• Illegal services or activities of any kind.
• Sexually explicit content or solicitation.
• Spam, scams, phishing, or impersonating another person or business.
• Attempting to manipulate ratings, bookings, or platform systems.

7. Reporting and Enforcement

Report violations through our Help Center or by emailing contact@findexpertsnearby.com. Depending on severity, violations may result in content removal, warnings, listing deactivation, account suspension, or permanent removal from the platform. We may involve law enforcement where required.
