1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FindExpertsNearby at www.findexpertsnearby.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

2. Description of Service

FindExpertsNearby is an online marketplace that connects clients with local service providers including but not limited to tour guides, private drivers, spa specialists, personal trainers, and private cooks. We facilitate bookings but are not directly responsible for the services provided by our partners.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Bookings and Payments

• All bookings are subject to partner availability and confirmation.
• Prices displayed include applicable platform fees.
• Payments are processed securely via PayPal or manual bank transfer.
• A booking is only confirmed after payment is received and verified.
• We reserve the right to cancel bookings in cases of fraud or policy violations.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancelling a booking

• 24 hours or more before your scheduled service: full refund, minus any bank transfer or payment processing fee (see "Refund fees" below).
• 12–24 hours before your scheduled service: 50% refund, minus fees.
• Less than 12 hours before your scheduled service: no refund.

If your provider cancels

If your provider is unable to fulfil a confirmed booking, we will first offer you a reschedule with the same provider or a replacement provider for the same service at the same price. If you would prefer a refund instead, you will receive a full refund of the booking amount, minus any bank transfer or payment processing fee (see below) — no cancellation fee applies, since this wasn't caused by you.

Refund fees

Refunds are paid by bank transfer or PayPal, matching how you paid.

• Bank transfer to the same bank as your original payment: no fee is deducted.
• Bank transfer to a different bank: the standard inter-bank transfer fee is deducted from your refund.
• PayPal: PayPal's processing fee is non-refundable to us, so it is deducted from your refund.

Refunds are processed manually and typically completed within 5–14 business days of approval.

6. Partner Obligations

Service providers (partners) on our platform agree to:

• Provide accurate descriptions of their services and qualifications.
• Honor confirmed bookings and arrive on time.
• Maintain professional conduct with clients.
• Hold any required licenses or certifications for their service type.
• Not solicit direct payments outside the platform.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users.
• Attempt to bypass our payment system.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute our content without permission.
• Impersonate another person or entity.

8. Reviews and Ratings

Reviews must be honest and based on actual service experiences. We reserve the right to remove reviews that are fraudulent, abusive, or violate our Community Guidelines. Partners may not incentivize or pressure clients for positive reviews.

9. Limitation of Liability

FindExpertsNearby acts as an intermediary platform only. We are not liable for:

• The quality, safety, or legality of services provided by partners.
• Any injury, loss, or damage arising from use of booked services.
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• Service interruptions or technical issues beyond our reasonable control.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant booking.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on FindExpertsNearby including logos, text, images, and software is our intellectual property or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

11. Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes between clients and partners, our team will review the case and make a final decision based on evidence provided by both parties. You agree to attempt resolution through our platform dispute system before pursuing legal action.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Indonesia.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification.
