Where you can join as a Private Chef

In Indonesia

Customers book and pay through the platform. You get paid to your Indonesian bank account, and the platform fee applies.

You can apply from any country the application form lists and publish your profile. To take bookings you need an active Premium plan, and you are paid directly into your own bank account. The platform does not process payments outside Indonesia.

Today most customers are in Indonesia, especially Bali, so that is where most bookings come from.

A practical guide to getting your first dinner bookings

Sell the evening, not the ingredients

Guests do not book "a cook"; they book "a Balinese feast at our villa for eight" or "a vegan tasting menu for our anniversary". Name each menu after the occasion and describe the experience: how many courses, what is served, what you handle.

Show the food

Bright photos of plated dishes, from your own kitchen, are the strongest part of the listing. Add three or four menus with a sample course list so guests can picture the evening. Mention dietary options such as vegetarian, vegan and allergy-aware cooking.

Price per guest and set a minimum

Most private dinners are priced per guest. State your price clearly and, if cooking for one person is not worth the trip, set a minimum number of guests. Guests see the requirement before they book, which avoids awkward renegotiation.

Be clear about shopping and clean-up

Say whether groceries are included, whether the guest shops, and that you leave the kitchen clean. These are the questions guests ask first, and answering them up front makes the booking easier.

Keep your food safe and your word

Mention any food-handling certificate you hold and how you store and prepare food. Arrive on time, confirm the menu the day before, and ask for a review afterwards. Repeat and referral bookings are how a chef's calendar fills.
